Check yourself!

So it's August...7 months down, 5 to go...how much have you achieved so far in 2011? Are you happy with your efforts?
 
Now is a fantastic time to review where you are at. What goals and new year's resolutions did you set for yourself back in January? What have you ticked off, what is in progress, what is yet to be started?? Of the things still to do, are they still important to you? If yes, are they SMART goals and do you have a plan of action? If not, take them off the list and stop feeling guilty about them. Priorities change and some goals need to be put on hold or replaced by others that are now important to you.
 
Are there any big goals you still want but haven't started? Remember that big goals are more manageable if you clearly define what it is you want and then use your SSAB goal setting tool to list the steps required to succeed. Break your big goal down. Then, start small and get the momentum going.
 
Take stock, celebrate your successes so far, and get clear on what you want out of your last 5 months of 2011. After all, it's your life, only you can lead it...so go for it!
 
P.S. your habits are a key thing to look at if things need to change or you aren't getting where you want to be. Your daily habits are critical to help move you in the right direction. So check yourself, do your current habits match your goals? For example, if you want to be a writer, are you writing regularly? If you want to improve your relationships, are you working on this every week?
 
Check yourself in or out! What is your status? Are you doing things every day and every week that will lead you to your goals and big dreams? If you aren't...maybe something needs to change...
