First priority...health!

First priority...health!

In my view, if you don't have your health, it directly impacts all other aspects of your life.

Late last year I put a lot of focus into the health part of my life. This was instigated after a long period of feeling tired all of the time, feeling something just wasn't right, and my approaching wedding.

So wanting to look and feel my best, I went on a journey of boot camping, iridology and specialist visits. In the process I learnt a lot about why I was tired and why I didn't feel quite right. I also got addicted to boot camp and how good it made me feel.

I made some big dietary changes and incorporated regular exercise and after 6 months on track, I felt amazing! Consequently, I had heaps more energy and this had positive effects on my relationships, work and all my very important goals.

With this energy, I began to ramp up my efforts. Perhaps...too much...because last week the universe sent me a big reminder that health is critical and you have to take time out every now and again and rest. I spent 5 days either in bed or watching DVDs, house bound and unable to go to work or hang out with loved ones. The to-do list and goals were put on ice...

Thank you universe for reminding me how important my health is and that I have to balance working hard with down time!

So a question for you...is your health getting in the way of you living the life you want? Are there things you can do something about or change? Are you fit and healthy and full of the energy you need to get what you want out of life? If you aren't...don't keep putting your health back on the things to sort out one day. Start looking at it now because if it isn't right I'm sure its holding you back in other areas of your life.

Think about introducing new habits into your life and remember to start small and build momentum. Go make that doctors appointment or pick up those multivitamins next time you're out or start going for regular short walks or research fitness options in your local area.

Fit and healthy, you can achieve anything! Make your health a priority!
